VS Code

A gateway for the editor AI chat, file scanning and commands to mask a selection or a whole file.

JetBrains IDEs

IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, GoLand, Rider, PhpStorm, CLion. Copy Masked, an inline linter with quick fixes, mask and unmask of a selection.

Coming to the marketplace. Until then, install from the release package.

Set up in three steps

  1. Install the plugin in your editor.
  2. Paste your API key into the plugin settings.
  3. Work as usual. Everything that leaves for the AI is masked first.

AI chat gateway

In VS Code, messages to the AI are masked before sending and the replies are restored locally.

Inline linter

Personal data and secrets (keys, tokens, passwords) are underlined inside your code, with quick fixes.

Masking commands

Mask a selection or a whole file with one command. Undo restores it.

Local engine, optional

In JetBrains IDEs the engine can also run locally, so no text leaves the machine.

What it does not do

JetBrains IDEs expose no API underneath AI Assistant or Junie, so what they send on their own is not covered by the plugin. Use Copy Masked or the desktop agent, which masks on the wire.
